Air Arms TDR (Take Down Rifle) Air Rifle

Many shooters had asked for a short, light rifle to take along on camping/backpacking weekends and road trips. Well, the TDR fits the bill beautifully in every sense. It weighs in at a mere 5.8 lbs with a length of only 33" and has ample power for pest control and light hunting. The power is adjustable from a full power of 14 fpe to lower levels in the 8 fpe or less range.

Not surprisingly, the rifle is very quiet due to its shrouded barrel. And it's pretty stingy on air consumption yielding approximately 40 shots per fill. The TDR is about as good as it gets if you're looking for a rifle designed for the shooter that is also a serious outdoors enthusiast. With that said, we also know that this rifle will be immensely popular as well with the backyard and basement shooters. Everyone will find that this light, short rifle is a real gem when super-magnum power isn't needed.

The rifle featuries the same quality components as the standard 410 series such as:
· Valve system which allows a greater number of shots per charge
· 12 groove Lothar Walther barrel
· Multi-Adjustable 2-stage trigger
· Quick Release charging connector

The TDR has some new features new to the Air Arms line such as a built-in manual safety button and an extra sear element giving the trigger a near match quality feel.



In the cheek piece there are 2 magazine housing clips to hold magazines ready to swap over for extra quick loading.



Breaking down the TDR is as simple as turning a wheel at the back of the rifle which removes the rear stock from the fore-end



Also on the new TDR is a built-in filter on the filling valve that will filter out particulates down to 20 microns.



An accessory rail under the forearm allows the mounting of bipods or laser sights.
