After investing in a new LGV, I decided I wanted a good light weight scope to mount on it. Read reviews of so many scopes, own a lot of scopes. My gosh, this scope was unbelievable in clarity to what I have ever seen. I now shoot about 5 airguns back to back and when I pick up the gun with the Clearidge, there is no contest. I love it! A really great investment for a Springer air rifle. The only Problem is now I have to invest in so many more Clearidge's to compensate for my other rifles. Like putting on eye glasses for the first time.

Advantages: Clarity, brightness, superior clearness on a bright day. Superior brightness on a low light shooting. Nice quality knobs with great control

Disadvantages: The Cost for this Springer scope shooting mostly at under 40 yds is more money. But you pay for what you get and this is worth every nickle I paid for it. I did not know what I was missing after all these years. However, I have read a lot about Optisan, and might try that next, as I now have to replace all my scopes.
