Hawke SR12 6-18x44 Scope

The Hawks SR series of scopes takes the best from the mil-dot and NATO reticles and adds a new twist. The "Christmas Tree" this unique reticle was designed by Nick Jenkinson for air gunners. This new reticle allows you to precisely calculate the aim point at different distances and different zoom settings.

Used in conjunction with the specialised Hawke Ballistic Reticle Calculator (BRC) software you can accurately predict the correct aim point for different distances. If you want the most from your scope and shooting experience then give the Hawke 6-18x44 SR12 a close look.

Specialized Reticles have been exclusively designed and thoroughly tested for Hawke Optics by reticle designer and World Champion Shooter Nick Jenkinson.

The reticles have a series of hollow dots and crosses that are positioned on the vertical, at specific points, to suit the curve of a rifles trajectory. Unlike mil-dots and most other reticles, the aim points are not an equal distance apart. This favours the SR reticles, as the calculated aim points are more evenly spaced.

On the bottom left of the Field of View is a range finding bracketing system, allowing the distance to a target to be calculated.

Simply bracket the ‘known size’ target, between A,B,C or D and then calculate the distance.

NEW robust styling, low profile finger grip turrets and 'True View' optics further enhance the Hawke SR. The adjustable 44mm dia. parallax ring will compensate for both long range and close up shooting.

Christmas Tree Reticle

Special Note: This 6-18x44 scope will focus down to 11 yards on 10X-12X magnification. But when using higher magnification, it will focus down to about 13 yards. The 3-12x44 version, which we also carry will focus down to 10 yards at 12 power.
