Opening the S-16 packaging reveals its beautifully machined contents. Each component is colored black, brooding, magnificent...a visual delight. Pick up the main body, you can feel the heft of the machined aircraft grade aluminum body and feel the special two stage, fully adjustable trigger.

Next, charge the 400cc steel bottle and screw it firmly to the back of the main body. Now that the "Sweet 16" is assembled, you can see why the shooting world is in love with it. Push pellets into the unique 16 shot, Mil Spec magazine and slide it home into the main body until you hear it lock into place with a reassuring click.

Assembling the S-16 is a tactile pleasure but it pales into insignificance when compared with the unbridled pleasure of actually firing the Sweet 16. Pull
the Supa Speed™ cocking bolt take aim, squeeze the trigger... 8 shots in 6.4 seconds, each within a half inch group at 50 yards. Push the stainless steel magazine release button and the magazine slides out. Simply invert it and slide it home for another 8 shots - 16 shots in 14.7 seconds. Granted, the testing was done by very highly qualified shooters. Not everyone is capable of shooting 1/2" groups at 50 yards or even to cock and shoot that quickly. But it's always nice to know that the Sweet 16 has that ability for somebody with sufficient shooting skill and quick hands.

The versality of the Logun Sweet16 is further enhanced by an integral scope rail which has been designed to accommodate scopes with objective lenses up to 50mm in size. The forend grip has two special features, the first being a built-in swing swivel mounting point, which makes attaching of a Logun bipod a formality. The second feature is an aperture in the forend that is designed to house a laser. Also integral to the design is a cross bar safety and integral pressure gauge. The rifle is design to take punishment and come back asking for more, The body is ultra-anodized to resist scratching. The internal components are all stainless steel for extra strength and the magazine is manufactured to exacting specifications. The Logun Sweet 16 is built with all the care and attention that is lavished upon the more traditional looking rifles, but still remains true to high standards.
