Scope and Rifle Fitting Guide

How to Use this guide.
This guide applies to spring and gas spring air rifles only. Any scope may be used on a PCP so a guide isn't necessary for them. We have divided the spring and gas spring rifles by power level. We have also assumed a normal head position for the purposes of this chart. We are aware that some shooters like to hold their head forward or back from the norm when shooting. This chart may not accomodate non-standard head positions.
The scopes shown with a Y will work with specific rifles but there are a few scopes that require an additional comment. We have added the following designations to those scope and rifle combinations.
Y = The scope will fit the rifle well.
Y2 = The scope will cover 1/3-1/2 of the loading port. Usually relevant only with underlever and sidelever rifles. Requires the use of a high mount.
Y3 = The scope covers most or all of the loading port. Relevant to underlever and sidelever rifles. Requires the use of a high mount
Y4 = The scope may not have enough eye relief unless the shooter holds his head far back on the butt.
