While there are a few stirrup pumps out on the market they are all basically the same, with no new advances for a decade. Now this has changed with the launch of the new Ultra Glide pump. This pump is the result of a cooperative project between CNC of Sweden, the original inventors of the air gun stirrup pump and MAC Manufacturing of England. Both these companies have years of experience in airgunning, both as manufacturers, engineers and also as enthusiastic shooters themselves. They took the pump right back to its basics, the highly efficient three stage mechanism has been refined to make it smooth and easy to use, allowing pressures of over 200 bar to be maintained in a matter of minutes.

The most vulnerable part of any pump is the main O-ring on the internal central valve and it is recommended by most pump manufacturers that it bechanged annually. This critical little part may only be fractions of an inch in diameter but if it fails the whole pump is rendered useless. In a traditional pump to access this O-ring is a long-winded and complex process involving a complete strip down of the pump, often entailing the use of Allen Keys, blow torches, wrenches and screwdrivers or even a lengthy and costly return to the dealer for servicing. But the unique design of the Ultra Glide means that this process takes less than 5 minutes and needs no specialist tools or engineering knowledge! So your down time is slashed to almost nothing and your servicing costs negligible – the Ultra Glide is the easiest pump to maintain available anywhere.
Constructed from high quality steel and aircraft grade aluminium the Ultra Glide is light, under 4.5lbs, yet incredibly strong and robust. With deep bluing and anodizing the pump is fully protected against scrapes and knocks whilst the ergonomically designed base plate forms a steady platform and the user friendly soft ribbed rubber handles make the whole operation comfortable and straight forward.
The pump has two filters, one an integral moisture filter that traps and estimated 99% of moisture, protecting the receiver on the host rifle and an external particle filter that features a micro-gauze filter made from state of the art material that is so fine and efficient that it is usually used in scientific laboratory filtration systems, ensuring that no stray dirt or particles enter the delicate valving mechanism of the rifle and cause a leak.
The pump has a gauge to indicate the pressure of air, calibrated in both BAR and psi, indicating up to 3600 psi. The Ultra Glide comes complete with smooth hose that features an industry standard 1/8” BSP fitting for the rifles filling adaptor.

Special Note: The above text came from the manufacturer and spells things out very nicely. But Craig and I want to add our two cents worth to emphasize what is written above. We have sold other brands of pumps for years....FX, Logun, Hill, Air Force and others and they are all good pumps. But they all really do have the same issue and that is that periodically an ORing wears out and the pump quits working correctly. And although there are many ORings in the pump, there is always one main ORing that causes all the problems when it wears out. And as stated above, the entire pump has to be disassembled to get at the one culprit and replace it. It's a time-consuming pain to do that task so the idea of being able to take out one screw, emply the beads, pop out the transfer port and replace the vital ORing in a few minutes is absolutely fantastic. No other pump allows for that or even comes close. Now you can replace ORings at home if one wears out. Take our word for it...it's the way to go and coupled with the debris filter and moisture filter. this pump is our new "favorite" pump.
