Weihrauch HW50S .177 Beech

Light Power, Breakbarrel, Spring Rifle

Light Weight and Easy to Handle
Super Accurate

Out of stock until early September

The Weihrauch HW50S air rifle is the perfect rifle for shooters wanting a bit more power than an R7 but not as much as an R9. The beauty of the light powered guns such as the R7 and the HW50S is that they are light in weight, easy to cock and quiet to shoot. A shooter can take these guns out of their case and shoot all day long without a lot of strain from cocking and carrying the rifle. And for even better results, simply add your scope of choice and a set of mounts. The HW50S features a solid beech stock but without a lot of frills to run up the price. There is a right-handed cheekpiece but it is very slight and not raised much at all. So the stock may not be ambidextrous in the true sense but it isn't far from it. A left-handed shooter would have no trouble shooting this rifle at all.

The gun is very quiet and easy to shoot. It has very little recoil, low cocking effort and great accuracy with a whole bunch of pellets. All in all, this is a wonderful choice for the backyard shooter that only needs adequate power for pest control or target shooting to 35-40 yards. The HW50S will handle both tasks with ease and you will be surprised at it's super accuracy. Don't overlook this model because it's a wonderful addition to any airgun collection. You'll find yourself shooting this rifle far more than you thought you would.

Weihrauch HW80 .177 Beech

Medium Power, Breakbarrel, Spring Rifle

The "Do-It-All" Rifle
Hard Hitting, Flat Shooting!

The HW-80 has long been known as a "Do-It-All" rifle and is universally recognized for bringing adult airgunning to the forefront with it's high power and stunning looks.

From the ground up, the HW-80 was built to be an airgun that a shooter could use and cherish for a lifetime. The Weihrauch "R" Series trigger, universally recognized as one of the finest available on a sporting gun, has a crisp, delightful feel that is fully adjustable. The solid body tube has deep dovetail grooves machined into the sides for maximum accuracy and stability. The safety automatically engages each time the rifle is cocked and has a convenient thumb release as well as a red indicator showing that the rifle is ready to fire. The elegant hardwood stock has a long forearm that adds grace and increased functionality for those who prefer to grasp the rifle farther out.

As an example of the workmanship of the rifle, examine the end cap of the receiver. Notice how the cap has been machined from a solid block of steel and carefully designed so that it mates flush with the body tube when screwed onto the back of the rifle. If this much care goes into one component, imagine how much thought and care has gone into the rest of the rifle!

The HW-80 was one of the first airguns to break the mystical 1000 fps mark. Other manufacturers may claim that their products meet or exceed that mark, but a chronograph often shows otherwise! The HW-80 is conservatively rated at 950 fps in .177 caliber but to truly harness the power we recommend the .20 or .22 caliber. The larger caliber gives a shooter better energy, greater mass and frontal area than the .177 caliber. The large swept air volume of the R1 makes it particularly well suited to the heavier calibers. The rifle is available in .177, .20, .and 22 calibers.

The "Do-It-All" Rifle
Hard Hitting, Flat Shooting!

The HW-80 has long been known as a "Do-It-All" rifle and is universally recognized for bringing adult airgunning to the forefront with it's power and stunning looks. It's a versatile gun with a power rating of medium (12-16 fpe) in the  .177 and .20 calibers, yet is rated as a magnum powered rifle (over 16 fpe) in .22 caliber.

From the ground up, the HW-80 was built to be an airgun that a shooter could use and cherish for a lifetime. The Weihrauch "R" Series trigger, universally recognized as one of the finest available on a sporting gun, has a crisp, delightful feel that is fully adjustable. Weihrauch HW90 .177 Beech

High Power, Breakbarrel, Spring Rifle

Gas Ram Technology
Powerful Hunting Rifle

The Beeman HW90 uses a "gas spring" for its powerplant. What is a "gas spring" you ask? Imagine an air-filled shock absorber in place of a conventional metal mainspring, and you have the insides of the HW90 in your mind.

The HW90 is cocked like any other barrel cocking airgun, but the single cocking stroke compresses a cylinder of air instead of a steel mainspring. When the trigger is pulled, the compressed air expands and drives the piston forward. Unlike a pneumatic or CO2 airgun, the sealed air is never expended. And unlike a steel mainspring, a "gas spring" cannot "take a set" or tire with age.

Due to the extremely short lock time (the time it takes a pellet to exit the barrel from when the trigger was pulled), this air rifle can have a pronounced jolt during firing. The short lock time, however, aids in field accuracy because there is less time for the shooter to "pull" off the target.

The beech stock features the famous long forearm for grace and functionality. The trigger is crisp and predictable as you would expect and is set at approximately 2 lbs. of pull, ideal for hunting purposes. The automatic safety is located at the front of the cast metal trigger guard and may be disengaged and then reset as needed.. All in all, a HW90 is a "must-have" air rifle for the connoisseur.
