I purchased my Walnut .177 TX200 from Craig here at Straight Shooters back in 2008. Since then I have shot hundreds of rabbits, squirrels, starlings and pigeons with it at distances up to and exceeding 100 yards. The gun is beautiful, as well built at a $2000-$3000 traditional firearm, and more accurate than most any match .22LR. See my .177 Walnut Air Arms Pro-Sport review on here for more details and a comparison between the two.

Straight Shooters is an excellent company, so much so that I came back 12 years later and bought a Walnut .177 Pro-Sport from Craig. I did a full review and comparison over on the Pro-Sport page.

Advantages: Accuracy, quiet, smooth, beautiful, the ability to be decocked (carefully if you know how). It loves Crosman .177 7.9 grain hollowpoint pellets which on sale are less than a penny a piece, so over 100 shots per dollar with supermatch accuracy. Excellent fully adjustable match trigger.

Disadvantages: Weight, and difficulty attaching a sling for hunting use. It isn't impossible to do, just not easy.
