| Underlever Cocking |
The 460 Magnum is definitely a very powerful spring rifle that shooters will appreciate. The 177 and .22 versions, with their high power, will be a big help to the shooters that enjoy shooting at longer distances. And the underlever cocking will make cocking easier which is always a good thing.
The importer advertises velocities of 1350 fps in .177 and 950 fps in .22. Whether or not that ends up being realistic will depend on the weight of the pellet used for testing. We came up slightly less than that after running the rifle through the Our Take testing to check it's velocities with many different pellets of different weights. However the lightest pellet we used was the RWSÂ Hobby at 11.9 grain. Possibly the importer used a lighter pellet of some kind to achieve the 950 fps mark.
The gun features underlever cocking with a loading port on the top, iron sights and a fixed barrel. And a scope can always be purchased and mounted but be sure to purchase only scopes that are rated for airgun high recoil. You can see a list of appropriate scope on our site under Optics, High Recoil.
The rifle features a beech stock with checkering and is a very nice looking rifle overall. If you're looking for a howtizer spring rifle, this is one to consider.
