RWS Model 48 Air Rifle

When RWS first introduced the Model 48, they expected it to become a classic. What they did not expect was its immediate elevation to classic status. The Model 48 gives new meaning to "magnum". At 1000+ fps in .177 caliber (over 700 mph) it packs a real wallop. The Model 48 is a favorite for keeping critters under control and is an example of what can happen by perfectly blending performance and accuracy.

In other words, RWS now ships their rifles with new, more attractive boxes. Once our existing stock is sold, all the new rifles will be shipped to us in these new, colorful boxes.
